Hypnotherapy is a technique that uses hypnosis to help people with various mental and physical health conditions. Hypnosis is a state of focused attention and relaxation that allows people to be more open to suggestions and coping skills. Whilst the effectiveness of hypnotherapy varies depending on the individual and the condition, some people and some issues do appear to be more responsive to hypnosis than others.
