Edited to add: check out Doxy.Me for a FREE alternative to both Zoom and MSTeams. Hopefully some of you might find this tip helpful... Zoom have now starting enforcing the 40 minute limit for their free accounts. To be honest, the amount they're charging for a paid account probably isn't cost prohibitive for most people, but it is worth checking whether you have access to similar services, that you're already paying for. If you have a paid subscription to Microsoft 365, then you likely have access to MS Teams for no additional charge. Having done a spot of Googling a few days ago, it did seem that MS subscribers should be able to access MS Teams without further charge. However, I also came across some very conflicting information. Hence, I've done some testing of my own and can … [Read more...] about Zoom alternative

Why are subscription models so popular and how does this apply to my role as a hypnotherapist??
Years ago, if you had a subscription for anything, it was most likely for a magazine, your TV/internet, or a gym. But nowadays, you could have a subscription for almost anything! A wine club, meal delivery service, kids educational materials, even dog toys and treats! Subscriptions usually come in one of three forms: Access - access can be unlimited or limited. For example, a movie club might allow a certain number of downloads per day. Re-stock - for example, have your pet food ordered and delivered automatically on the same day each month. Do I have time to study a hypnotherapy course?
Introduction This article aims to have you consider the question 'do I have time to study a hypnotherapy course'? However, it's a good idea to do a time inventory to determine how much free time you actually have. … [Read more...] about Do I have time to study a hypnotherapy course?
Free Marketing Graphics Tool (Canva)
As a person who enjoys graphic design and have worked self-employed in the graphic arts industry on and off for 20 years, I have always been something of a 'traditionalist' in that I preferred to just create my marketing graphics and promotional materials in Photoshop. Now, although I still use Photoshop, it can take a while to create a mrketing template from scratch and - as much as I'd like to - I don't always have the time, or flexible priorites - that allows the creating of marketing and promotional materials from scratch. So, whaddya do? You use Canva! Now, I'm not a shareholder (does Canva even have shares? LOL), nor am I sponsored to create this post...heck, I'm not even a Pro subscriber. But what I am...is impressed by their tools. So, what is Canva? It is a free … [Read more...] about Free Marketing Graphics Tool (Canva)
