Theta binaural beats are sounds that can help you enter a state of deep relaxation or light sleep. They may also help you reduce anxiety, enhance creativity, and achieve a hypnotic state. Theta brain waves are associated with the lighter stages of sleep or the transition from waking to sleeping3. By listening to theta binaural beats, you may be able to synchronize your brain waves with the sound and experience the benefits of theta waves. However, the effects of binaural beats are not proven by science, and they may vary from person to person. Therefore, … [Read more...] about Free 8 hour theta binaural beats audio track

Hypnosis myths and a free audio download
It’s no secret that there are many misconceptions regarding hypnosis. Between stage shows where the hypnotist has people strutting around like chickens or forgetting their own name, to believing they’re the King and able to speak a Martian language. None of it shows hypnotherapy in a positive light. So today I’d like to help reduce some of the misconceptions, starting with these 3 commonly spouted myths. 1. You are not asleep when you’re in hypnosis. You’re actually right at the junction where you’re asleep and awake. FYI you’re in this same state just as you wake up and just before you fall asleep. 2. You go into hypnosis many, many times in your day. For example, when you’re reading a really good book, watching a great TV show, and when you’re driving a familiar route. 3. You can’t … [Read more...] about Hypnosis myths and a free audio download

Mindful Monday: mindful walking
In today's Mindful Monday we're looking at a simple task you can do whilst taking a walk. Step 1 Set off on a short walk; preferably somewhere scenic and quiet, but this isn't essential. Step 2 Now, use your ears and listen to the sounds around you, such as the sound of passing cars, birds chirping in the trees, leaves rustling in the wind, or the sound of people mowing their lawn. Really focus on every noise and consider how loud or quiet it is. Step 3 Use your sense of smell and notice what you can smell. Inhale deeply and see if you can notice the more subtle scents too. You might notice the smell of summer flowers, the scent of a freshly mowed lawn, or food being cooked on a BBQ. Notice all the smells, and register how feint or strong they are, or whether they're pleasant or … [Read more...] about Mindful Monday: mindful walking
