Well this is a post I never expected to make, but it feels difficult not to mention something. To say the title of this post is pretty clear about what is dominating people’s thoughts lately, is a huge understatement. However, I do feel it needs acknowledging, because many people are feeling stressed and fearful about the future. I just ask one thing though, that you will read to the end of this post, before leaving a comment or passing any kind of judgement.
What is hypnotherapy?
First, let me give you some background information on hypnotherapy and anxiety. Hypnotherapy is the use of hypnosis to treat or alleviate physical and psychological symptoms. Hypnosis is a state of focused attention and heightened suggestibility, where the person can experience deep relaxation and positive changes in thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
What is anxiety?
Anxiety is a normal and adaptive response to perceived threats or challenges, but it can become excessive and interfere with daily functioning. Anxiety can cause physical symptoms such as racing heart, sweating, trembling, nausea, and difficulty breathing.
It can also cause psychological symptoms such as worry, fear, nervousness, panic, and avoidance.
Could hypnotherapy help? How?
I do believe hypnotherapy could help people manage anxiety around this topic by:
- Reducing stress and promoting relaxation
- Enhancing self-confidence and self-belief
- Changing negative thoughts and beliefs that trigger anxiety
- Developing coping skills and strategies to deal with anxiety-provoking situations
- Resolving underlying issues or traumas that contribute to anxiety
- Creating positive associations and expectations for the future
Hypnotherapy can be used for mild to moderate anxiety, as well as for specific phobias or fears. However, it is important to consult a qualified and experienced hypnotherapist who can tailor therapy to the individual’s needs and goals.
Do you need help?
You have probably already assumed that I could help you manage your anxiety via some private hypnotherapy sessions. However, I’d like to also help those for home budget is an issue. Because, we all deserve to feel at peace with whatever is going on around us. And I say at peace with an acknowledgement that few people will ever be truly at peace about the prospect of World War 3 breaking out.
However, being able to manage the fear and anxiety does have it’s uses. For one, it makes us feel more comfortable and two, when decisions need to be made quickly and rationally, level-headed thinking is key.
Help, I have zero budget!
So, please bear with me as I work on a recording that you can download (for free) to help you manage your anxiety around this topic. I’ll post more and add the download to my store once it’s available. Again, there won’t be a cost.
