Stand in mountain pose (shown). Position arms by your sides, palms forward, with thumbs facing outwards.
Inhale and sweep arms upwards and overhead until hands meet abover head, with palms touching. Exhale as you slowly lower arms to your sides.
Deepen and lengthen breathing and try to feel the pause after each breath.
Repeat 5 to 8 times.
